To support the Zapatista autonomy, social movements "in the lower left" in Mexico and the world.
-
to stop the aggression and war the Mexican government against indigenous communities of Chiapas.
-
To spread the allegations of violence against Zapatista communities.
-
to converge in the summer of 2008 @ molt from all over Italy and across Europe in solidarity with the Zapatistas in Chiapas.
After years of apparent calm is not a day goes by without the Zapatista Juntas of Good Government, to denounce incidents of provocation and attacks against indigenous communities of Chiapas.
As confirmed by the human rights organizations and was confirmed by the work of the Sixth Civil Commission of Human Rights Observation, behind this endless stream of episodes is a comprehensive strategy to undermine community indigenous resistance.
the middle of this offensive attack without the right to live in the reclaimed lands to the estate, consisting of kidnappings, arbitrary arrests and violence is the desire to attack what the EZLN has built from 1994: The resistance has become the practice of autonomy and self-government.
not made more visible war of tanks and military and paramilitary bodies, but a long and agonizing creation of micro-conflicts sold as clashes between indigenous.
A strategy that, in the age dell'assordante noise of military operations and massacres daily global war, we want to pass over in silence.
is a war that wants to silence the political lab represented Zapatista experience, as well as in many other parts of the world want to turn off other social movements and workshops based on autonomy.
Zapatista Autonomy speaks the language of the communities around the world struggle to safeguard the common goods and resources, to give a real sense of the word democracy, to gain citizenship rights for every human being.
Men and women of the EZLN are measured every day in challenge the thinking of neo-liberalism to construct a single of this change and hope for humanity.
I am a pilgrim community, along with many others in Mexico, Latin America, in other continents.
are part of a humanity that struggles, dreams and organized "bottom left" as happens in our house: the Presidio "No Dal Molin" against the war, the Committees of the Val di Susa, from mobilization of women in conflict for the defense of territory, from the mobilization of migrants for full rights to social struggles.
We invite all those who feel close to the Zapatista cause as well as all those experiences based on the concept of community control and autonomy to endorse this campaign.
Media independent, individual, collective, artists, musicians, social spaces, to stand by and support this struggle is not so far from the Italian reality.
With this campaign,
- We demand an end to attacks on indigenous communities and the general repression, based on military operation, arrests and violation of human rights, implemented by the Mexican government against social movements, as is happening with the struggle in Oaxaca and Atenco.
- We will work to circulate rumors and complaints that come from Southeast Mexico.
- We want to build a large and diverse presence in support of Zapatista autonomy in Chiapas this summer to say along with many from all over Europe @:
¡NO LOS Zapatista ESTAN SOLOS!
